World Kindness Day in Action!🌎🧡 Mrs. Schoenfeld’s 3rd grade class spent time reading to Mrs. DeWitt’s preschoolers yesterday, and it was the sweetest display of kindness! To say thank you, our preschool friends surprised the 3rd graders with handmade bracelets!

Miss November's 4th–7th grade Art classes put their creativity to work in a meaningful way this week! Students designed letters to send to A Million Thanks, an organization dedicated to sharing encouragement and appreciation with U.S. military personnel, past and present.

In addition, every class contributed cut-out handprints to create a collaborative American flag now displayed in the explo hallway.❤️💙

Massillon Mental Health Champion, Rheegan Lustig, represented Massillon at the Stark County Schools Mental Health Seminar on November 13! Joined by Assistant Principal Renee Parr, they connected with students and staff from across the county at CommQuest. Rheegan took part in conversations about social media and anxiety, and even served on a student panel to share insight.🐯🧡

Honoring Our Veterans

Our 7th grade staff put together a meaningful Veterans Day bulletin board, featuring stars with the names of veterans connected to our students and staff.

The WHS School Counseling Department is holding their annual College Credit Plus Information Night on Thursday, December 4th!

If your student is planning on taking College Credit Plus courses during the 26-27 school year, this meeting is mandatory. However, if you have already attended one of the previous CCP nights you do not have to attend a second time. If you have any questions, please contact your student's school counselor.
