We will never forget. Students and staff from Washington High School participated in a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb this week. Local first responders, WHS staff, and area Marine recruiters were invited to share their memories of 9/11. After which, the Massillon Tiger Swing Band played our National Anthem to start the climb. Students were grouped in teams of three and were challenged to climb 110 flights of stairs weaving through Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. Teams carried various weights throughout the climb while rescuing six "civilians" represented by American Flags. This is the 4th year in a row WHS has held this climb led by math teacher, Sam Studer.
