Washington High School Junior, Kiana Robinson, was recently accepted into the Buckeye Student Leadership Academy! The program gives participants the opportunity to learn more about themselves and others, and how to make the college experience work for them!

State qualifiers, Hannah Studer and Alyssa Jekubik, had a great experience at Otterbein University Power of the Pen competition! Mrs. Stutzman and the team made Massillon Junior High School proud! Way to go Tigers!

Mrs. Singer's Honors U.S. History classes recently visited MAPS Air & Space Museum where history came alive! Volunteer Veterans were their tour guides, giving students first-hand accounts of their experiences. A huge THANK YOU to MAPS and all of our Veterans!

Miss Massillonian and Outstanding Senior Boy were announced at tonight’s WHS Honors Ceremony! Congratulations to Morgan Hannon and Nicholas Hatheway!

Reminder: We will once again be partnering with school districts from all over Stark County to stuff the bus with food donations for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank! Food donations will be accepted at all Massillon City School District buildings May 9th-13th!

Our sophomores in WHS Construction Trades are currently learning about point of sale! They will be selling stools each morning on a first come, first serve basis beginning Wednesday, May 11th from 7:20-7:55 AM! (No sales outside of this time due to other projects). Stop by door 32 at WHS to purchase. Stools are $50! Cash or check (made payable to Massillon Board of Education)

The juniors in Mr. Werstler’s Construction Trades class are getting real-world experience! They are replacing the roof on the shed at Whittier Elementary!🔨

Our WHS bands and choirs had a VERY successful weekend at OMEA State Contest! Both bands and all four choirs brought home SUPERIOR ratings! Congratulations, Tigers!

Happy Arbor Day!🌳 Some of our 3rd grade students from Franklin, Gorrell and Whittier attended the Massillon Parks and Recreation Department Arbor Day program this morning! They planted a tree at Kiwanis Park in Massillon!

Experiences will last a life time! 8 of our DECA Marketing students had an opportunity to compete at an international level against 17,500 students from 14 different countries in Atlanta!
