As of January 1, 2026, the state law in regards to cellphones in school has changed. In accordance with state law, the Massillon City School District will begin enforcing the following as we return from Christmas Break on January 5, 2026.
Students will be expected to place their cell phones in district provided storage areas in each of their instructional classrooms. At Massillon Middle School, instructional time is considered all day.
