MJHS Power of the Pen traveled to the University of Mount Union College to compete with many other students in the county. We had 2 kids place in the top 12 which is great. Jezabelle Kiefer placed 10th out of 88 seventh grade writers and Katie Smithhisler placed 4th out of 88 eighth grade writers. We will have more kids move on, but won’t know that for about a week.
