Massillon City Schools Board of Education Holds Organizational Meeting
Massillon, OH- (January 6, 2016)- During an organizational meeting held on Jan. 5, Ron Pribich was voted President of the Massillon City Schools Board of Education. Liz Hersher was voted Vice President.
"I am looking forward to being President this year," said Pribich. "I think there are going to be some exciting actions that the board will have to approve, including, but not limited to, new school buildings."
In addition to the appointment of the President and Vice President, Thomas F. Radel Jr. was officially sworn in as a Massillon City Schools Board of Education member.
"I'm looking forward to working with the Superintendent, Treasurer, and other board members to help make Massillon an even better school district," said Radel.
The new board consisting of Liz Hersher, John Paquelet, Ron Pribich, Thomas F. Radel Jr. and Mary Strukel voted to hold meetings on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
"I would like to congratulate Ron Pribich and Liz Hersher on their newly appointed positions within the Massillon City Schools Board of Education," said Superintendent Richard Goodright. "I would also like to welcome Thomas . Radel Jr. as a new board member of our school board. I look forward to the insight this group of board members will bring."
