The Class of 2020 Visits The Ohio State University

The Class of 2020 continued their journey of college tours on October 20th and 21st as they traveled to The Ohio State University. Students were given the opportunity to embark on a tour usually geared towards incoming college freshman. This tour was led by Ohio State University students. Each group also met with the Program Coordinator at Ohio State, who shared information about the orientation process. During this time, the orientation leader spoke to our students about what it takes to get into college and also explored the different college options with them.

As the campus tours and orientation ended, the students were then taken on a tour of Ohio Stadium. During this time, the students visited the North Rotunda, the Recruit Room, the press box, University Suite, Huntington Club, the Varsity O Room, and the field.

Prior to visiting The Ohio State University, the Class of 2020 was asked to research a college they are familiar with along with a college they were unfamiliar with. These experiences allowed our students to explore personal interests as well as research post-secondary options.
