Raptor System at MMS

The safety of our students is our priority. As such, we are launching the Raptor Visitor Management System at the middle school complex for the 2018-2019 school year.

Beginning on Friday, August 31, ALL visitors to Massillon Intermediate/Junior High School will be required to present a government-issued form of identification to enter the building. All visitors must enter through Door #1. Any students entering the middle school complex after the tardy bell will be required to enter through Door #1.

The Raptor Visitor Management System is used to scan a person’s ID before giving them access to the building. Once a person is approved, a photo ID badge will be printed for them to wear while in the building.

The system will allow us to verify who we’re letting in the building and ensure we know who is in the building at all times.

As with any new system, we might experience some glitches within the first few weeks. We ask for your patience during this process as we work to enhance the safety and security of our middle school complex.

If you have any questions, contact the main office at 330-830-3900.

Please remember to bring your ID with you when visiting the building.
