The Massillon City Schools Welcomes Josh Hose as Head Boys Basketball Coach

The Massillon City School District is pleased to welcome 1998 Massillon Washington High School graduate, Josh Hose, as the new head boys basketball coach.

“We had very specific things we were looking for when we interviewed the candidates, and Josh checked all of those boxes,” said Washington High School Athletic Director, Nate Moore. “Josh took the program at Tuslaw and developed it into something that it wasn’t before. He was highly involved in developing the entire program from the youth up.”

Prior to accepting this position, Hose spent seven years as the head girls basketball coach at Tuslaw High School where he held a 109-56 record and won three PAC-7 championships. Hose is a 2002 graduate of John Carroll University.

"We are excited to welcome Josh back to his hometown," said Superintendent Richard Goodright. "I believe his passion for the community will show in everything he does here at Massillon."
