Thank you to our residents for voting on Nov. 7 to pass the renewal levy! The renewal, which is not a new tax, will allow the district to maintain current levels of programs, services and staff. With passage of Issue 43, the district will remain out of debt and be able to maintain its current operations and programs. The renewal levy, which generates $3.4 million annually for Massillon City Schools, was first passed in 2012. This is the first renewal of this levy. At Massillon, our goal is to provide our students with an excellent education while being fiscally responsible and transparent. With the passage of the renewal, we will be able to maintain financial stability and a high-quality education for our students. Thank you again for your support of our district and students!

Important Information Regarding the 2017 YearbookDue to a delay in completion and publication, the 2017 Massillonian will be available November 16, 2017 for those who have ordered their yearbook during the previous school year and for purchase for those still interested in owning the 2017 Massillonian. We apologize for the delay and recognize the inconvenience to students and parents. We pride ourselves on the hard work of our students and staff and understand there are moments when things do not go according to plan. WHS and the Annual Board are working to improve the yearbook program and ensure that all plans are made appropriately, so that there will no longer be a delay in receiving the yearbooks. We thank the community and student body for their patience, and the Annual Board in its continued work to produce the yearbook for WHS. Yearbooks officially will be distributed at WHS on November 14, 2017. Students will be informed on yearbook distribution procedures and those who chose the “Ship-to-Home” option when ordering the yearbook will receive their book via mail within a few days of distribution. Again, thank for your continued patience and support.
