IMPORTANT TESTING INFORMATION
Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 17th through March 13th, students at Massillon Intermediate/Jr. High School, grades 4-8 will be administered the PARCC and AIR Assessments, which are part of Ohio's next generation of assessments.

These assessments are computer-based for math, language arts, social studies and science.  These tests are designed to give teachers, schools, parents and students useful information on how we are preparing students for their futures.  These tests are mandatory and are replacing the OAA's for grades 4-8.

Please make sure your students are in attendance during these weeks and on time for school.  Students should be well-rested and have a good breakfast before starting their day.

The following is the breakdown of grade levels and assessments they will be taking:

Fourth Grade - Language arts, math and social studies
Fifth Grade - Lanugage arts, math and science
Sixth Grade - Language arts, math and social studies
Seventh Grade - Language arts and math
Eighth Grade - Language arts, math and science

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call the school at (330) 830-3902.
