2017-18 Title 1 Tutoring: "WIN" Club

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Massillon Junior High and Intermediate Schools believe that every child in our building can achieve at high levels. We are committed to creating a school where best instructional practices are consistently implemented to promote increased student growth and achievement. As we develop our students’ college and career readiness throughout the year, at times students need more time during the school day to focus on certain areas.

We have identified specific children for an exceptional opportunity to receive more support in the area of mathematics. We are creating “WIN” math class. “WIN” stands for “Whatever I Need” in math to be successful and grow towards a child’s full potential. The additional math support will occur during the school day during one of the child’s exploratory classes. “WIN” will allow for small group and individualized focus on the area of math that the child needs.

We are excited to offer this opportunity  and look forward to seeing the growth. “WIN” will operate from October-April. If you are in search of more information for your child to receive additional support in math, please contact your child’s counselor.
