Education: Kent State University; Stark State University; Licensed and Certified in Precision Machining, AutoCad/ Drafting, and Manufacturing Engineering, Licensed as a CTE Teacher from Kent State University

Work Experience: 28 years teaching Manufacturing Engineering related courses at Washington High School; 10 Years industry work experience with the Timken Company

Hobbies: Spending time with my family, traveling, water sports, walking/ biking

MANUFACTURING-ENGINEERING AS A PROGRAM & PROFESSION

This course provides a great opportunity for the high school student to get a feel for the Engineering and Manufacturing field. Students in Manufacturing/Engineering concentrate on key components which are; a career in Engineering/Manufacturing, internship possibilities, developing a safe working environment, hands-on experiences and future employment with additional education. Upon completion of the 2-3 year program, students can earn college credits. Manufacturing/Engineering gives the student an opportunity to work with their hands and gain the fundamental knowledge for a career in Engineering and/or Manufacturing

Credentialing Opportunity: OSHA 10 General Industry Certification
